RT-20PCD

The RUNTAI RT-20PCD features a Ø250mm high-strength metal body equipped with polycrystalline diamond cutting elements and auxiliary metal-bond diamond segments.

The PCD cutters provide high hardness, aggressive cutting performance, and fast material-removal capability. They are designed to break and remove epoxy coatings, adhesives, paint, and other floor coverings efficiently.

The auxiliary metal-bond diamond segments grind the exposed substrate while the coating is being removed. This helps control cutting depth, reduce excessive damage to the concrete, and begin preparing the floor for the next working stage.

The cutting elements are evenly distributed across the grinding plate to provide balanced pressure and stable operation. Sufficient spacing allows coating debris, grinding dust, and heat to be discharged efficiently, reducing the risk of clogging and localized overheating.

The appearance, PCD configuration, auxiliary segment bond type, and bond hardness can be customized according to coating type, concrete hardness, machine power, and specific application requirements.

The RUNTAI RT-20PCD is a professional Ø250mm floor-coating removal plate designed for the fast removal of epoxy resin, floor paint, adhesives, waterproofing layers, bitumen residue, and other thick surface coverings.

The PCD cutters remove coatings through aggressive scraping and peeling action, providing significantly faster coating-removal performance than conventional metal-bond grinding tools.

The auxiliary metal-bond diamond segments simultaneously grind and prepare the exposed substrate. This allows coating removal and initial surface preparation to be completed in one process, reducing the number of subsequent grinding steps.

The RT-20PCD is suitable for medium and large floor grinding machines and is especially effective for large-area floor renovation, industrial floor refurbishment, and substrate preparation before applying a new flooring system.

The auxiliary metal segments are available in 16#, 30#, 60#, and 120# grits, covering applications from aggressive coating removal and coarse grinding to scratch refinement and transitional surface preparation.

Grit Applications

16#: Suitable for removing thick epoxy coatings, strong adhesive layers, and difficult floor coverings while performing aggressive coarse grinding on the substrate.

30#: Suitable for general epoxy, floor paint, and adhesive removal, together with initial concrete opening and coarse surface preparation.

60#: Suitable for removing thinner coatings or remaining residue while refining coarse scratches and correcting the exposed surface.

120#: Suitable for further reducing surface roughness, refining metal grinding marks, and preparing a uniform base for subsequent resin grinding, coating, or polishing.
